We welcome you to attend our meetings which are normally the 4th Wednesday of the month (except the 3rd Wednesdays in November and December). We have no meeting in July.

Featured speaker was Woodbury College's Vice President of Marketing Don Sinclair. Mr. Sinclair has earned a reputation for decisive leadership based on empowering people at every level of an organization.

Our special dinner meeting honored the people with whom we work or volunteer at "Business Associates' Night" at Mijares Mexican Restaurant, Pasadena. The "Business Associate of the Year" is Patrick Patterson of Patterson Graphics in Burbank. Other honors went to Verdugo Glen Woman of the Year, Kathy Dupree, and Top Ten Business Woman Candidate, Nicola Keller.

This was our ABWA National Spring Enrollment Event. Two ABWA members spoke on the topic, "How to Start Your Own Business."

Our Anniversary Night honored past presidents and featured chapter awards and installation of officers for 2008-2009. The program featured Christina Ortiz who spent time with the Peace Corp. The internationally-themed evening is "Global Volunteerism," and how this career lead to International Studies.
July, 2007 NO MEETING THIS MONTH - The outgoing and incoming Executive Boards and Committee Chairs met to plan for the new calendar year which begins August 1, 2008.
