The American Business Women's Association supports education and business skills training by providing multiple resources.

W.I.N. The Women's Instructional Network program is an exciting learning and communications tool designed just for ABWA members! WIN is a sophisticated, interactive online community customized exclusively for ABWA members, and we are the first association anywhere to offer this exclusive opportunity.

Professional Development: ABWA provides opportunity to earn CEUs and obtain transcripts and certificates of completed courses.

Regional and National Conferences: ABWA offers conferences led by professional speakers and educators from many industries. Quality seminars and workshops feature topics relevant to the needs of today's working women.  October 11-13,  2012, the ABWA National Women's Leadership Conference will be held in Memphis, Tennessee. The Western Regional Conference is March 14-16, 2013 in San Diego, California.
 
ABWA-KU Essentials Program: The University of Kansas School of Business Faculty delivers master's degree level basics in a variety of subjects that business women need.
 
Scholarships: The Stephen Bufton Memorial Education Fund (SBMEF) has contributed more than $16 million to 14,600 women for their professional success through education. In Fall 2012, the chapter is awarding a $1,000 Chapter Impact Scholarships in memory of Laurali Fey, a long time member. It is for women studing a business degree at Glendale Community College. Local Chapter Scholarships: Verdugo Glen, through its successful fund-raising events, has continued for the past 49 years, to award scholarships to area students in pursuit of higher education degrees or training.  For a student scholarship application, click here (Word | PDF) for the scholarship application and criteria. It can be mailed to: ABWA  Education Chair, 10965 Hillhaven Avenue, Tujunga, CA 91042. In addition, the chapter assists its own members financially to attend courses and seminars to further their professional development and leadership skills.
